In this session, we will explore a variety of tools to oversee student progress and support deeper conversations. Identify resources that provide and adapt digital tools for assessment that are compatible and appropriate for every learning style. With access to immediate feedback, explore innovative ways to measure student strengths, analyze your data, and personalize instruction.
Session Three: Joining Forces: Encouraging Collaboration | 2:00-3:00
Communication and collaboration are essential skills necessary to contribute in today’s society. In this session, we will explore several platforms that facilitate cohesive learning environments with multiple contributors of content. Create collaborative web spaces to collect and share content while providing peer and teacher feedback opportunities. Explore the innovative use of QR codes to take content sharing to the next level.
This seminar was created to allow educators of ALL digital learning environments (iPads, laptops, Chromebooks, 1 to 1, BYOD, carts, or even a single classroom device) to successfully integrate technology into instruction.
Attendees should have basic technology expertise with their device, with expectations to grow current skill sets and build confidence. Learn how to grow digitally through an innovative professional learning opportunity with measurable outcomes.

Alicia Southworth currently serves as the Technology Integration Specialist for Edvergent Learning. As a former classroom teacher, Alicia’s instruction was built on a platform surround by technology. Alicia’s has a passion for guiding educators to reach beyond their current technology literacy level to engage their learners and foster an environment of student innovation and creation. Teachers leave her workshops feeling confident and empowered to reach the digital learner. She is gifted at engaging her audience from the start of the training and hooking them throughout the day with anecdotes of her experience as a one to one teacher as well as her natural ability to make connections and applications to all content areas and grade levels.
